We’re giving the gift of giveaways this holiday season!
DC Circulator’s Winter Wonder Bus will be returning to circulate holiday cheer in December 2021! Enter to win FREE ride passes and $25 Amazon gift cards when you upload photos of you and your family riding the Winter Wonder Bus, OR snap a photo of the bus sighted in the community! Tag @dccirculator in your posts and use the hashtag #WinterWonderBus
Winners will be announced each Wednesday of the month and featured on the @dccirculator social media!
Connecting Our Community for the Holidays
For the fourth year during the holiday season, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) decorates a 44-foot DC Circulator electric bus with a festive bus wrap, ornaments, and other holiday adornments. This year, the Winter Wonder Bus is circulating holiday cheer with the theme “Connecting Our Communities for the Holidays”. The exterior decor illustrates the importance of rebuilding joy and a sense of community during the global pandemic, while the interior provides riders with an interactive experience as they venture into local areas in D.C. for holiday shopping and family-centered events.

Located in historic Anacostia and accessible via DC Circulator, visitors can find The Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum and Cedar Hill, the home of abolitionist, Frederick Douglass. His estate became a National Historic Site in 1962 and will re-open later this year.
#DCCirculator readily welcomes families traveling with children in strollers, senior citizens, & people with disabilities on our vehicles, which have accessibility features that help make traveling easier. A simple request to the operator will allow us to lower the bus ramp in no time!
Originally used as grounds for demonstrations, Black Lives Matter Plaza is a permanent, pedestrian- friendly walkway consisting of bold, 50-foot letters that visitors can take photos of & commemorate. Use DC Circulator as a convenient access point to this great gathering space.
