Service Alert for the 2024 NATO Summit Modify Service on the Georgetown – Union Station Route
DC Circulator to Detour Georgetown – Union Station Route for the 2024 NATO Summit from July 6th through July 11th, 2024.
The 2024 NATO Summit will lead to road closures affecting the Georgetown – Union Station route. Critical segments of the route will be affected to accommodate the 2024 NATO Summit.
Detour route from Union Station – Georgetown traveling west-bound:
DC Circulator buses will turn left at Massachusetts Avenue & 5th Street NW onto 5th Street NW; then, the buses will turn right at H Street NW, continuing from H Street NW to 13th Street NW. There, the buses will turn right onto 13th Street NW and continue 13th Street to K St NW. The bus service will then turn left onto K Street NW and continue with normal service to Georgetown.
Detour route from Georgetown – Union Station traveling east-bound:
DC Circulator buses will turn right onto 13th Street NW, continuing to H Street NW. The bus service will turn left onto H Street NW, continuing on H Street NW until it veers right to Massachusetts Avenue NW, and regular eastbound service to Union Station.
The following DC Circulator bus stops will not be served:
- Massachusetts Avenue & 5th Street NW e/b & w/b
- Massachusetts Avenue & 7th Street N e/b & w/b
- New York Avenue & 9th Street NW e/b & w/b
- K Street & 11th Street NW e/b only
Regular service will resume at all DC Circulator bus stops on Friday, July 12, 2024.
