Service Alert: DC Circulator to Modify Service on National Mall and Congress Heights to Union Station Routes for Ride to Remember Rally on May 30, 2021

DC Circulator will suspend service on the National Mall Route and detour service on the Congress Heights to Union Station Route.

The Rider to Remember Rally will lead to road closures affecting the National Mall and Congress Heights to Union Station route in multiple locations on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Therefore, DC Circulator will suspend service on the National Mall route all day on Sunday.
The DC Circulator service for Congress Heights to Union Station route will detour at 8th and M Street SE., splitting the service into two separate loops.
The following bus stop(s) will not be served:
• 11th and O Street SE (eastbound & westbound)
• Martin Luther King and Good Hope Rd SE
• Martin Luther King and W Street (northbound & southbound)
• Martin Luther King and U Street SE
Additionally, traffic and other congestion related to these events and road closures could cause delays on the Georgetown to Union Station and Dupont Circle- Georgetown-Rosslyn routes. Riders on all three routes should allow additional travel time Saturday through Monday.
Regular service will resume on all routes Monday, May 31, 2021.
