Service Alert: National Mall Route to Modify Service for Cherry Blossom Festivities starting Saturday, March 23, 2024

DC Circulator to detour National Mall Route service for the Cherry Blossom Festivities starting Saturday, March 23, 2024 to April 7, 2024.

The Cherry Blossom Festivities will lead to road closures affecting the National Mall route. After stop #7, buses will detour by continuing on Ohio Drive SW past West Basin Dr to the John Ericsson Memorial then turn right onto 23rd Street SW and left on Lincoln Memorial Circle SW to serve stop #9.

The following bus stops will not be served during the service detour:

  • 8: West Basin Drive near Independence Avenue SW

May 2023: This spring, DC Circulator and DC Streetcar have been sharing how we maintain sustainable practices for a cleaner, more environmentally friendly community. The DC Circulator fleet is made up of electric, clean diesel, and hybrid vehicles that all work towards a #SustainableDC. Our buses help to reduce air pollution, including carbon dioxide, which makes up most greenhouse gas emissions. Consider leaving your car at home and use DC Circulator to contribute to a cleaner, quieter environment.

Service Alert: National Mall Route service impacted by July 4th celebrations.

 

DC Circulator National Mall Route Service will not be operating on July 4, 2022

 

The National Mall and Memorial Parks Independence Day celebrations planned road closures and safety measures will prevent the operation of the National Mall route on Monday, July 4, 2022. Regular service on the National Mall route will be reinstated on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

All other DC Circulator routes will operate on July 4, 2022.
