And when you pay using SmarTrip, riding DC Circulator again within two hours of another ride is free, making it easy to hop on and hop off while touring the area.

DC Circulator’s Winter Wonder Bus has made its festive return to the District and for the 2nd consecutive year, DC Streetcar is wrapped in a Winter Wonder theme as well. The holiday rides are decked out in a Candy Land theme featuring some of the landmarks along our route that make the District of Columbia so great!

Our Winter Wonder Bus will be present at several events throughout the month, with fun giveaways and an interactive Candy Land experience inside the bus for visitors of all ages.

Service Alert: DC Circulator to Run Special Shuttle to Zoolights at the Smithsonian National Zoo

DC Circulator will provide shuttle service from the Woodley Park Metro Station to the Smithsonian National Zoo for Zoolights, starting this Friday, November 24 for one dollar. Shuttle service will be provided every 15 minutes from 4:45pm-9pm when Zoolights is in operation with the exception of Sundays which will run from 4:45pm-8pm. Please note, DC Circulator’s Zoolights shuttle will not participate in the following member nights: November 30, December 7, and December 14.

Passengers who board at the Woodley Park Metro DC Circulator stop will be dropped off at the WMATA L2 bus stop in front of the Zoo’s main entrance on Connecticut Ave NW. All passengers will need to depart the bus at this stop in order to show their Zoolights tickets before entering the zoo.  

Passengers returning to the Woodley Park Metro can board either 1)  at the Bus Lot next to Panda Plaza inside the zoo campus or 2) at the southbound WMATA L2  bus stop across from the zoo entrance on Conn. Ave. NW.  

Look out for the “Zoolights shuttle service” signs at the WMATA bus stops.
